Easy like a Sunday Story..
While the doors of TOAST have sadly been closed, Sherry has been being creative with her time.
In a bid to find some pleasant escapism from the pandemic, Sherry is writing a short story each week, which she performs on Youtube every Sunday. The nature of the ‘easiness’ of the stories aptly lends its name to the series; 'Easy Like a Sunday Story’. There have been six episodes so far, with a new one tomorrow.
Or if you prefer, the stories are repeated every Tuesday after the 7pm news on CabinFM and again on Sunday mornings at 8am. The ‘Cabin Stories’ are a few weeks behind, tomorrow’s will be Episode 2.
You can catch up here:

An evening of five short pays about life:
Super smashing great: Erin lets us in on her strategy to win bullseye, she's leaving nothing to chance when it's time to gamble!
Paint: Purple arts centre is under threat, can a creativity-fuelled community prevail?
Body Pump with Trump: Kim argues with a barista whilst sharing stories of her pop career. Seems it eroded as fast as it began, if it ever began at all.
Woman Band: Mel's holding auditions in a cafe for a new woman band, it's like a boy band or girl band, but it's got women instead...
Welcome to not-band-practise: A place for you to be with your instruments without expectations or pressure. No experience needed or wanted.

The Giles Family at Home
The Giles Family at Home
10th July - 7th August at The Seaside Museum
Celebrating their 75th Anniversary, as part of the Herne Bay cartoon festival.
In 2020 the popular Giles family celebrated its 75th birthday. From the start the Daily Express family enjoyed many holidays together and days out. In a year when we are all encouraged to take a staycation, our exhibition The Giles Family Holidays at Home explores some of the joys of the British seaside holiday - whatever the weather.
The exhibition is part of the 2021 Herne Bay Cartoon Festival, supported by Herne Bay Festival, Canterbury City Council, The British
