This poster advertising the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Willliam Shakespeare's 'The Taming of the Shrew' was created by artist Alan Morrison.

Alan Morrison is a graduate from Glasgow school of art and has worked extensively across a multitude of artistic disciplines; illustration, scenic painting, mural art, fine art and mentoring/tutoring/teaching.

During the 80s he joined Ian Fleming illustration agency in London where he completed numerous commissions for companies such as 20th Century Fox, Royal Shakespeare Company, British Telecom, Pioneer music, Hawker Siddeley, The Face, Cosmopolitan, National Army Museum and BBC to name a few.

He held 11 one man shows in london and 4 in Brisbane to date. He continues to paint in his brisbane studio and has been a finalist in many art awards in the past ten years including Doug Moran portrait award, Mandorla Art Award, Lethbridge Small Scale award,Collie art award and Bluethumb art award.
