Decorate your own door hanger! If you can hold a paint brush you can join in this workshop it doesn't matter how young or old and a great opportunity for families to create together. Turn up at Beach Creative anytime from 10am last session at 3:30pm. This will be done on a first come first serve basis, there will be the opportunity to book time slots on the day should there not be enough spaces when you arrive.

Blueprints of Dover is a community project funded by The Wellbeing Community Fund Social Enterprise Kent and delivered by Emily Parris from The Darkroom at Beach Creative. This project is currently recruiting participants and is open to applications from anyone over the age of 55, or under 55 with complex needs. The ideal participant will live in Dover. Painting Fun

Painty Fun will be be open to everyone from ages 2-82+, if they can hold a paint brush then they can join in the fun. Families will be very welcomed and encouraged.
Art has been proven to be very good for mental health at all ages. Just 20 mins of art a day will have a positive impact on how a person feels. It helps to takes ones mind away from stresses and problems of day to day life both in children as well as adults.
We all pick up crayons at an early age often before we can do anything else. As we become older we lose the ability to play. This mini workshop will the young and the old to have the 20mins they need to give their minds a creative boost. Each attendee will have the opportunity to create their own door hanging to their own design, all free of charge.

Free, fun and informative these workshops are all
about helping you to create artworks from beach-
combed items such as driftwood, plastic bottle
tops, feathers, rope and other flotsam washed up
on Herne Bays shore.
As well as making individual collages on board, a
large image of Herne Bay seafront will be mapped
out for you to contribute to.
Although all materials will be supplied it would be
great if you could bring along any plastic bottle
