8 week sewing course for adults - Thursdays

The Sewing Club runs classes alongside the school’s timetable all year round with a maximum of 6 students per class so you get lots of hands-on tuition and personal guidance.

We have machines and equipment you can borrow and high cutting tables that can save your back! We have an extensive range of books and sewing patterns to borrow.

Beginners can follow a set list of projects to help them build up their skills and confidence or concentrate on what interests them right from the start.  You can get helpful advice about making up patterns and fabric choices and what equipment to buy yourself.  Angela’s knowledge of sewing machines is invaluable if you need to purchase one.

As The Sewing Club is not affiliated to any fabric shop or brand, we can give unbiased advice on what to buy and where to buy it and we don’t compel you to…
