Gill was one of the three founding Directors of Beach Creative in 2012 and has been a huge force for good at the CIC, and pushed forward educational outreach. Gill is an artist and educator and a passionate environmentalist.​

One of the three founding Directors of Beach Creative in 2012 and responsible  for the gallery bookings, and day to day running of the Beach Creative  building and our sister gallery, Bay Art Gallery.  

Yuliia is a highly motivated and adaptable professional, with a rich background in diverse leadership roles. She first became involved with Beach Creative through our Cultural Ambassadors programme.

Mike has been a Beach Creative resident since 2012. Mike initially trained in computer programming before completing a Foundation Course at Canterbury College and a BA in Fine Art at Exeter College of Art and Design.

Ray was born in Herne Bay and has spent most of his life here. Most of his working life was with Lloyds Bank, in East Kent and South London. Ray has been a supporter of Beach Creative since it started and could not resist the opportunity to help in a more pro-active way.

Nick has spent his career as an artist. Firstly as a painter of large-scale abstracts before the century turned. Then, for the last 25 years he has explored a wide variety of art forms from photography to architectural models and installations.

A founder member of the steering group for Herne Bay’s Duchamp Festival 2013, curating all the exhibitions during the award winning three-week event. Over the years, David has appeared in various group shows both in Kent and Cornwall.

Alice is a passionate theatre maker with a deep enthusiasm for live art and performance. She loves writing and directing, skills which she developed during her education at The BRIT School, where she won the Snowglobe Award for Best Play in 2018.

Mandy is one of the three founding directors of Beach Creative. She graduated with a BA from Boston College, Massachusetts in 1984. After a career in marketing she became a full-time artist in 2000. 

Denise has supported Beach Creative from the beginning. Although she didn't have a formal Arts education at the time, she was clearly an extremely talented and versatile artist, working across a variety of media. 

Dystin has enjoyed a successful 35 year career as a professional actor, writer and director for stage, television, film and theatre. She now coaches adult novice and professional actors with The Actor’s Lounge acting school.

Francesca joined Beach Creative on a part-time basis covering communications and finance. Francesca is invested in Beach Creative's future as a thriving community centre for creativity and wellbeing.

Sam is an artist and mentor and has been freelancing for local art organisations and social enterprises since the age of 16, and is now making public art ‘legally’ for people to enjoy.

Will is responsible for managing Beach Creative's website and newsletters. He has a background as a digital creative and designer and has worked with many leading design agencies and consultancies.

Eirinn researches innovative ways to produce materials from natural resources, she was the first designer to create couture pieces from grown vegan leather made from waste coffee granules. 

Gabi is a Mixed Media Fine Artist working in both 2D and 3D and has been practicing for 30 years. She has an artist studio at the Sun Pier House Artist Community.

Rebecca first started working with Beach Creative by participating in our Youth Group and now joins our Board of Directors - becoming our youngest member!
