Facing Writers’ Block: The Oida! Way

Join award-winning playwrights and creative co-directors of Oida! Theatre, Elissa and Becca, as they walk you through some of their tried-and-tested techniques when facing writers block. 

This will be a three-hour workshop exploring practical ways to face issues such as a lack of inspiration, motivation, or battling perfectionism when trying to write. Participants will take part in various exercises and discussions, exploring some of Oida’s favourite ways to get started with storytelling in a pressure-free, supportive, and engaging environment.

We welcome creatives at any stage of their career: Whether you’re a first-time writer, or an experienced author – this is a brilliant opportunity to pick up your pens and join your fellow artists for an afternoon full of creativity.

We kindly request that participants bring their preferred tool for writing, whether this is paper and pen, a tablet, a phone, or a laptop.
